Music therapy group sessions are focused on the non-typically developing child, ages 3 to 5 years old, and their caregiver. Sessions are 30 minutes long. Music as a social activity will enhance group participation, and each session is meant to nurture meaningful bonds between caregivers and their little ones. Families will learn to use music as a tool for emotion regulation, stress reduction, for enhancing communication and social skills, and for encouraging play.
